I believe one of the best places to dine in Palm Springs. Iconic, welcoming, beautifully set, excellent service and great tasting food. From the moment you pull up to valet you're made to feel welcomed. Your serving team just want you to have a good experience. They usually offer a pre-fixe menu along with an Al a carte wide variety menu. I ordered the beets salad along with the whitefish. Both so good and flavorful. Portions are very generous. The desserts were outstanding as well as I had the banana cream pie. A must visit when in town!

I went here for my two year anniversary celebration with my partner. They had a nice surprise for us with a little flyer. The host is saddest right away because we had a reservation and the restaurant felt very fancy. We got the set course meal, which was $60, which was very reasonable. It included a starter, main, and a dessert. The starter we got was the carrot ginger soup that was super refreshing and light. Then we got the entree which was a salmon Caesar salad for myself and the short ribs for my boyfriend. The Caesar salad was not too overdressed, and the salmon was perfectly cooked. The short ribs were also very tender. For dessert, we got the trio sorbet taster, which was super yummy and had different flavors like mango lemon and raspberry. They also gave us a free ice cream, dessert for our anniversary. Overall, a great experience.

We came to try this place for my mom's birthday dinner while visiting Palm Springs. I must say the ambiance was great. We didn't have to wait because we had reservations. Our waiter provided us with excellent service. I provided a four star review because the food did not serve me as well as I thought it would. I ordered the Wild Mushroom Risotto and a Cesar salad. There was something off about the food I didn't enjoy. The drink I got was a lemon drop martini and I have had better than this one. I would definitely recommend giving this place a second try in the future.

*** Vegetarian Review *** *** Breakfast *** We spent a week in Palm Springs which means 7 breakfasts! And since French toast is my go to, I had a personal 7-day French toast challenge. Would I come back? Yes. It is definitely worth it. Tips for first timers: 1. Reservations are recommended. 2. They have a dress code - not suit and tie, but flip flops are a no no. I'd say show up in "resort casual" and you'll feel comfortable sitting amongst others that are coat and tie-ing it. 3. Parking can be found on the street and it's not metered. 4. Take some time to walk the restaurant grounds. You can get a Birds Eye view of the tennis courts. The end result, Spencer's came out on top. Just look at the photo and it will make you want to book a quick flight to Palm Springs just for this sweet and savory delight. For this review, I won't provide a top 7 lists for the area. But I will provide the next best, which was The Farm. I might revisit this and provide the worst of the experiment, but I'm feeling too happy from eating this to go down that road for now. Banana Stuffed French Toast (Grade A) - if you eat with your eyes, get ready to be fully satisfied. It's presented beautifully with a generous amount of raspberries, strawberries, and of course bananas. I didn't ask if the bread is house made, but I will tell you it makes the perfect French toast. Thick enough to carry the sweetness of the dish and has a nice chewiness to it. Not overly egg-ey and the warm syrup is the perfect touch.

Food was delicious as usual. We've been here a handful of times now and we've never been disappointed. If given the option, sit outside. Even at night the twinkly trees and lights hitting the mountain make your dining experience extra special.

If you are looking for an amazing atmosphere, wonderful food and exceptional staff, Spencer's is a must visit when in Palm Springs. This is our 3rd trip to Palm Springs and our 3rd visit to Spencer's. The food is delicious. This trip we ordered the Rib eye, meatloaf, and Rigatoni, all three were amazing. The steak was cooked to perfection and the meatloaf with its thick mushroom sauce was delicious. For dessert we shared the banana pudding and the chocolate chip cookies, both of which were much better than expected. Thank you, Spencer's, we'll see you next year!

My girlfriend and I had the pleasure of dining at Spencer's for her birthday dinner and had the most wonderful time. I made us reservations for Saturday around 8 pm. The location was interesting - tucked away in more of a residential area. We were able to walk since our hotel was so close but they had valet service available for $3. We were greeted by the hostess who showed us to our table. The restaurant was big, and had a lovely ambiance. We were seated right by the window so we had a nice view of the tennis courts. We were greeted by our waiter who was wonderful the entire evening (I forgot his name.) They brought us a special "Happy Birthday" menu which I thought was so cute. I ordered an Aperol spritz and my girlfriend ordered a cucumber cocktail. My spritz was good, but not the best I've ever had. Unfortunately, my girlfriend did not like her drink, not because it was bad but just a flavor preference, and our waiter was kind enough to exchange it for a glass of wine. For our meal, we started with the coconut shrimp which was delicious. For my entree, I ordered off the specials menu - Miso Cod. My girlfriend had the grilled salmon. Both of our entrees were delicious! However, I do wish the side dish for my meal was something else because I didn't care for the carrot puree that came with it. Our meal ended with our waiter bringing out a scoop of ice cream with a candle for my girlfriend. We were too stuffed to order dessert but the options looked delicious from what we saw. Overall, if you are looking for a meal with exceptional service and good quality food, I would highly recommend Spencer's.

If I were just rating the service, I'd give them 5/5 stars! The folks here were so patient and helpful. They were all seriously the sweetest people ever. It was my mom's birthday and they brought her out some ice cream, a candle, and a lovely note to thank her for celebrating her birthday with them. Food-wise: the crab cakes and ahi tuna were to die for. Most of us ordered the Business Meal which is honestly a phenomenal deal. Highly recommend it. You get a salad or soup, a main, dessert, and coffee. The salad and fries were also amazing!! Great value and great service. I recommend stopping by here if you're in the area. Valet parking was $3 at the time of our visit.

This is such a lovely setting, and nice to have heaters that did their job! Our food was wonderful! I had Scotch Egg Benedict, with scotch salmon, not scotch egg! Nicely poached and great flavor, with a bountiful side of fresh fruit. Yummy English muffins. Husband had the Corned Beef Hash, which i will have next time, because it was the perfect combo of small diced corned beef and potatoes crisped beautifully. All eggs poached nicely. Good coffee and cappuccino. The four stars is because our waiter was uninterested in us after taking our order, and we had to go find him after waiting for our check. Great to have valet parking.
